Regan is a mommie, Erin is an E-ma and DA is a Great -grandma!!
Regan was AMAZING! I've had 2 kids with no drugs and she was in WAAYYYYYY more pain than I ever had. Back labor is ROUGH. She was a trooper and pushed Brooke out at 9:47 pm. She was 7 lb. 15 oz. Regan had a tough time after Brooke was born and they couldn't stop the bleeding for a while. A little scary but she is doing great now. We have a new member to the Hyde Family and she is georgous!!!

More Dancing with Allie
Allie and her cheer squad performed at half time of the Salina Central Salina South basketball game the other night. As you can see, she's pretty comfortable performing in front of a crowd and the camera.
Enjoy

2009 Salina Central Volleyball Banquet
Allie, Maria and KaNesha entertain all at this year's Mustang Volleyball Banquet. It was so entertaining we decided to share it... It's hard to tell but they are paying tribute to their head coach Ms. Pfeifer.Enjoy!
All Allie
I've neglected to post these photos for some time. These are from various activities this fall. I've also planned to be more active, posting more frequently and trying to keep the page current, but easier said than done.
The first photo is of Allie and friends before the Homecoming dance (the girl on the end is Jing, my sister's foreign exchange student from China. The next photo is of Allie and her date sitting with the rest of the homecoming court. The 3rd is Allie's Senior Night (last home vball match) and the 4th is Allie clowning around at Homecoming rehearsal. Enjoy and I'll try to post more soon.

We

By the way, we are expecting a new daughter... she's german, foreign exchange student. If all goes well, she should arrive in late December and be with us for the 2nd semester of the school year.

Mammoo Memorial
I've added a slide show of the pictures I took this past weekend at Mammoo's Memorial. If you click on the slide show you can view it in a larger window. Also, just a reminder... the e-mail you receive from the blog only shows the most current post, but if you go to the website you'll see the slide shows as well as the most current (10 I think) posts and there is a directory of older posts.

It was great to see all that were able to attend this weekend.
By the way, if you know of someone who would enjoy viewing the blog simply forward this notification e-mail to them. The blog only allows 10 e-mail addresses for the automatic notification.
Thanks,
Tod

Allie Kathryn Volleyball - Maize Tri

Allie had a great night serving the ball... especially in the first game of the 2nd match (against Hutch) where she reeled off 13 straight service points, but I really liked this picture.
By the way, some of you may know this, but if you click on the link from the notification e-mail... all you see on the website is the latest post. However, if you go to the url http://www.eatwormsandlaughallthewayhome.blogspot.com/ you'll see the 10 (I think) most recent posts. Just save this address in your favorites.

Added a slideshow of pics from our trip to MD & D.C.
Hello all,
If you go to the blogsite you'll see a picture of the birthday girl.
Also, I've added a new slideshow including some of our pics from our trip to Maryland, Louisville and D.C. If you click on the slideshow, it should take you to the picasa website where you can choose "slideshow" and watch in full screen mode ( a little easier than watching the little frame here on the blogsite). We watched Caleb's football game via the internet the other day. What an exciting game! Unfortunately, Seth's team hasn't been as successful. But the season's still young.
Chelsea's team is off to a good start and she says she's keeping up with her homework. Shea's soccer team is playing in a Wichita league and holding their own. Allie is one of only 2 girls on her volleyball team with varsity experience, but she's playing well and they notched their 2nd victory of the season tonight. Capri loves 1st grade, however, she's not a fan of the school lunches and comes home hungry every day. Ang and Capri have gone on bike rides to the park the last 2 evenings... I think Cap really enjoys it. Oh, almost forgot... Allie has been nominated as a homecoming queen candidate.
There's a bunch of other stuff (pics and video) I want to post just haven't had the time.
Enjoy the pics and talk to you all soon!

Christmas w/ Cleatus the Trucker
Found this old photo among several others my folks dug up and gave to us recently. We'd nearly forgot that eventful Christmas so many years ago spent with Cleatus, the trucker. He and his tractor trailer hauling Milwaukee's Best (to be delivered to finer taverns across the midwest) were stranded in the "Great Christmas Blizzard of '90."

The video speaks for itself, we laughed for an hour!
Just another day in the pool with the Hydes.
We stopped for a day on our way to Maryland. Enjoy!

2009 0529
Hope all are having a great start to the summer. As you can see, I've added a BIG new photo at the top of the blog to commemorate some grads... I've also added a photo slide show of some of the pics we took during Seth's graduation.
More news: Seth is working road construction this summer for his Uncle Alan and is now officially enrolled in college for the fall semester. Chelsea has also secured a summer job working for School Specialty Supply and has additional exciting news about her career. Curious??? Ask her! Allie has a babysitting gig and will, hopefully secure her driver's license soon. Shea has a soccer tournament this weekend and will be attending basketball camp in a few weeks. Cap and Remi are enjoying the warm summer weather.
The Smoky Hill River Festival is right around the corner (June 11 thru 14)... it's a great weekend event for young and old, so make your way to Salina if you can.
